If you’ve paid attention to the #LeBronWatch campaign on social media during the NBA season, you were treated to an array of colorways and styles of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and his LeBron 15 sneaker.

According to SB Nation’s Whitney Medworth, the LeBron 15s are James’ fifteenth signature shoe. For the first time, the shoe uses the Flyknit technology, which has made them one of the most popular basketball shoes out there.

This season, James paid tribute with custom versions of his shoe to honor baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr. and also with a scope looking at his first LeBron sneaker that debuted during his rookie season during his first stint with his hometown, Cleveland Cavaliers.

Guess what’s just as cool?

With the NBA season over and the WNBA’s season in full swing, the Phoenix Mercury’s Diana Taurasi, is joining in the fun and donning the LeBron 15’s all season. “I think the 15s has taken basketball shoes to a different level,” Diana Taurasi told RESPECT Magazine’s Landon Buford.

“I know LeBron put in a lot of work into it. Something that fits his comfort and to keep up with how athletic he is and the pace of the game.”

Taurasi, the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer, is the first WNBA player to net 1,000 three-pointers. She even got her own colorway of the Nike shoe that proudly boast the Phoenix Mercury’s orange and purple.

She’s pleased: “I think this shoe combines so many different things that make it such a great shoe.”

Taurasi, a three time WNBA Champion recently donned her LeBron 15 Equality sneaks on a June 16, 2018 game against the Connecticut Sun.
