Basketball Society will be providing Fantasy Basketball DFS recommendations for some of the lower priced players who should stand out. All of the prices are based off Draft Kings and we will be suggesting only players priced at $5500 or below.

Here are some of our suggestions today:

PG: Jordan Clarkson ($4900)

PG: George Hill ($4800)

We’ll start with Jordan Clarkson who we are just waiting to break out in a game this season. He’s been great shooting the ball, with above a 53% from the field while averaging above 27 points per 36 minutes. If he gets extra minutes, he’ll be a steal at his price on Draft Kings.

It’s odd that we’d pick two point guards from the Cavs as our recommendations, but if you don’t feel confident starting Clarkson since he’s coming off the bench, go with Hill. We think that in time, George Hill and Jordan Clarkson will get some run on the court together until Sexton is ready to take over late game action.

SG: Wesley Matthews ($5200)

SG/SF: JJ Redick ($5500)

The Mavs will be going up against the Hawks tonight which should mean plenty of threes for Wes since the Hawks are a run and gun team this year. High pace opponents always seem to benefit Matthews so expect another solid outing.

You have to continue to throw JJ Redick into your lineup until Draft Kings raises his price. While he’s coming off of the bench, he’s getting more minutes and putting up better numbers than starter Markelle Fultz.

SF: Kent Bazemore ($5300)

SF/PF: Rudy Gay ($5500)

Kent Bazemore had a very solid stat-line against the Cavs on Sunday which equated to 40.3 fantasy points. He’s hot as of late and expect him to have another solid game shooting the ball against the Mavs tonight. The one concern will how he will fare against Wes, but we think he’ll just have too many scoring opportunities to not succeed fantasy wise.

Rudy Gay hasn’t been able to put together too many stats outside of points to make him fantasy worthy. We think that changes tonight against the Pacers. If you are looking for someone around that $5500 price mark, Gay might not be a bad choice.

PF/SF: Mario Hezonja ($4500)

PF: Serge Ibaka ($5400)

Mario Hezonja has been getting more and more minutes in the rotation for the Knicks. We list him at PF because well, that’s what he’s been playing. Against the Bucks he was guarding Giannis for most of the 2nd half. David Fizdale seems to trust him and he’s a nice cheap option who will stack the stat-sheet.

We envision the Timberwolves going small which means more minutes for Ibaka at center going against Karl-Anthony Towns. Ibaka should see his fair share of rebounds and if he’s good to get you a double-double, he’s probably a safe pick at $5400.

C: JaVale McGee ($5300)

C: Derrick Favors ($5200)

JaVale McGee’s one problem this year has been that he just can’t stay out of foul trouble. As long as he’s able to stay on the court, he’s a fantastic fantasy choice given his price. Against Ayton, he’s going to have plenty of chances for rebounds and just will have to take advantage of the rook’s lack of experience.

Derrick Favors is a little more of a risk. When teams go against the Rockets, you really never know who they’ll throw out there. Favors might get 30+ minutes if Gobert can’t stay out there with Houston’s lineup or Coach Snyder might choose to barely play Favors. We really don’t know, so this is a risk but if you trust that he’s going to be on the court a lot tonight, he’s a solid choice.
