It shouldn’t be surprising that Team Loaded NC is producing another big time talent. Landers Nolley is a 6’7″ 215lbs Class of 2018 versatile wing. The term I saw most associated with Landers this summer is that he is a “walking bucket”. His ability to stretch the floor with shooting 45% from the 3 point line his junior year at Langston Hughes High School (Fairburn, Georgia) along with his physically mature body, makes scouts salivate. As a junior, he led Langston Hughes High School to a Georgia State Championship while averaging 24,7 points per game.

Jamie Shaw of Hoop Phenom Report even went as far to say that his game and physical stature are eerily similar to Devin Booker at this point in Landers’ development. Landers is a guy who can score on all three levels with ease. He proved that averaging 21.6 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and 3.4 assists per game at the Adidas Summer Championships in Las Vegas this past weekend. He has the type of skill set to play either point guard, shooting guard, or small forward at this point. With all of this attention from his summer explosion, we were able to obtain an interview from Landers.

What schools do you hold offers from at this moment?

Landers: Vanderbilt, Clemson, Wichita State, Arkansas, Penn State, Cincinnati, Alabama, Florida State, Mercer, VCU, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Saint Louis, USC, North Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida, Illinois, and more.

What schools are showing at least medium interest who haven’t offered yet?

Landers: Ohio State and Georgetown.

Do any of these schools stand out to you that are high on your list?

Landers: No, not really. They are all just about even right now.

How did it feel to explode onto the AAU scene this summer with all the offers you received?

Landers: I finally felt appreciated for what I can do as far as my game. I felt like I kind of proved myself.

What was your experience like playing with Team Loaded NC this summer?

Landers: My experience was good in my opinion. I obtained exposure and had fun.

What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses on the court?

Landers: I have a lot of strengths, it just all depends on what my team needs. I don’t really consider them a weakness but my conditioning and my motor.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

Landers: Durant, one because he is my favorite player and because he is very versatile like myself.

What do you do differently than anyone else on the court?

Landers: I’m vocal all the time and play hard. I always help my team exactly where they need me.

How do you see your game translating onto the next level?

Landers: I mean I see it translating in an impactful way. I see myself having good success because that’s what I work for.

Is there any particular style of basketball you like to play?

Landers: Nope, I can play any style I believe. I do kind of like playing uptempo.

What are your goals for your senior year?

Landers: To be the best that I can be. Honestly, I want to win another state championship again, be Georgia Mr. Basketball, and be a McDonald’s All-American.

Landers has lofty goals of being a McDonald’s All-American, but I believe it is not out of the question. In my opinion, Rivals, Scout, and 247 Sports will have him in the top 50 for the Class of 2018 by the time his senior year is over. The 4-star recruit only seems to continue to improve his ceiling. I believe he has the potential to borderline becoming a 5-star prospect if he improves on his numbers at Langston Hughes High School for his senior year. Winning another Georgia State Championship would also help that matter. I’m looking for Landers to really stuff the stat sheet for his senior season. We will keep you updated with the rising stars recruiting process.
