There’s nothing I can say in this article to truly display how great Chris Paul is. I’ll supply with you some facts and statistics that back up my claim that he’s gotten better this year. But, it simply won’t be good enough.

Chris Paul is a player that you have to watch. You can see how much better he makes the players around him. That is one of the best things about CP3. We really don’t know how good players like J.J. Redick and DeAndre Jordan would be on another team because Chris Paul has such a great impact on them. It’s the Chris Paul effect. You might not be a great player on a different team, but Paul enables you to succeed on his team because he knows how to find your niche and exploit it.

Chris Paul has done this for his entire career. He’s truly one of the best point guards of all time, but doesn’t receive the praise he deserves because he has yet to succeed in the playoffs. He is going to get the praise he deserves in time though.

This year is no different for Chris Paul. The Clippers are 8-1 going into their game tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves and CP3 has been a gigantic part of the team’s success.

Paul has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 5.5. You read that right. He has 77 assists and only 14 turnovers on the season. His offensive rating is at 131 while his defensive rating is at a very impressive 88. He also leads the league in PIE with a rating of 25.8. Russell Westbrook is the next closest with 21.6.

It’s incredible to see Chris playing this well still. Hopefully, for the Clippers’ sake, this amazing production from Chris Paul can be sustained as the season goes on.
