Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders has had his fair share of off court issues this season. He has been criticized for not wanting to play, and is now serving a ten-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug program, and has still not returned to the team due to “personal reasons.” Sanders had this to tweet about the situation several days ago:

Buyout discussion between the two parties have begun, as the four-year veteran hopes to become a free agent. Sanders has been wanting to revive his career after serving these lengthy suspensions, and a buyout just might be what Sanders needs. A new start with an NBA team that is looking for a veteran big man would be adamant about signing him.

Sanders has been a good defense center for the Bucks since he made his NBA debut. If they follow through with the buyout process, the Bucks would have to buyout the remainder of his 4 year $44 million contract he signed in 2013.
