Class of 2019 wings Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine are two of the most sought-after prospects in their class. The pair is an ultra-dynamic tandem for the Ranney School in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and if some college programs have their way, they might even continue playing together at the next level.

Antoine and Lewis are also playing together on the AAU circuit for Team Rio. Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.com caught up with Antoine at the Under Armour Association stop in Indianapolis last weekend.

Antoine mentioned that he plans on making his college decision in the fall before the school year starts, and referenced Duke and Villanova as two of the programs coming after him the hardest.

“They’ve been recruiting me the hardest since last summer when I got the offer,” Antoine said of Duke. He later added: “They are recruiting me the hardest, but they’re not the only school recruiting me the hardest.”

Coach K sees Antoine as “their key guy” in the class of 2019, according to Zagoria. Antonie has apparently become close with Duke assistant John Scheyer as well.

The listed 6’5 wing is also being sought after by the reigning national champions.

“Villanova is only like an hour and 45 [minutes] from my house so it’s kind of like the home school,” Antoine said. “In the past three years they’ve won two national championships, there’s no other place you can do that at home. You can go in there and win a national championship.”

The first time I had a chance to watch the 6’5 listed Bryan Antoine play was at the Empire Invitational earlier this year. You can see some highlights from episode two of our vlog.

Antoine has the pogo-stick athleticism that doesn’t just make him a threat in the open floor, but in his ability as a defender and shot creator. He has the ability to be an immediate impact guard at the next level.

The presence of fellow New Jersey guard and Villanova commit Jahvon Quinerly could present an opportunity for Antoine in his college decision. It’s still a wonder of whether or not he and Scottie Lewis will try to stick together at the next level. They both have Duke, Villanova, and also Kentucky on their trails.

Florida, Kansas, and Rutgers are also in the mix for Antoine.
