A Basketball Christmas Poem

Merry Christmas everyone, from Basketball Society,

Your favorite place to get all types of basketball variety.

Whether it is the NBA, WNBA, College Ball, or the Big 3,

It’s basketball 24/7 here, the way it was meant to be.

Today, we get some great basketball action throughout the day,

It’s the Sixers, Knicks, Warriors, Cavs, Wizards, Celtics, Rockets, Thunder, T-Wolves, and the Lakers battling it out in the NBA.

We might not have Steph, Draymond, CP3, or Lonzo Ball, I know that’s hard to read,

But, wasn’t it a great philosopher who once said, “Michael Beasley is all we need”?

It’s a Porzingis-Embiid battle to start out our Christmas morning,

You absolutely need to tune into this battle, this is your final warning.

Ben Simmons is a star, we all know it to be true,

But, the Knicks aren’t playing around this year, maybe they’ve finally made a break through?

We get another Finals re-match today with the Cavs returning to the Bay,

And we’ll again be convinced that LBJ will be just as good when he begins to turn grey.

Kevin Durant and Klay are going to have to turn up to not let the Cavs win again,

Otherwise they’ll have to go on Snapchat later to see JR Smith drinking straight Hen.

John Wall, Kyrie, Harden, and Russ are some of the other stars getting a run,

Trust me when I tell you, tomorrow’s going to be a lot of fun.

Don’t forget that we also have some college basketball on tomorrow,

New Mexico State, USC, Miami and Middle Tennessee State will all put on a show.

Jemerrio Jones is one of the most electric players to watch in NCAA history,

He’ll be going up against Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu, two players with ceilings that remain a mystery.

So, get ready to turn on your TV tomorrow to watch some ball,

And no I don’t mean football, the sport that is so hard to watch at all.

I mean the greatest the sport in the world, basketball, without a doubt,

Now Merry Christmas, go sit down on the catch, watch basketball, and black out.
