Aidan told me via text:

These four schools all have a plan or me to obtain my goal which is to one day become a Hall of Famer. I want to be one of the best to ever play and these schools have visions of me doing that.

Igiehon played with Team Rio on the AAU circuit this summer alongside Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine, two other highly sought after prospects in the class of 2019 out of the Ranney School in New Jersey.

I first saw Aidan play at the Empire Invitational earlier this year in Long Island. We talked about his Irish origin and where he got his basketball passion from, how he studies “high motor” players like David Robinson and more.

247 Sports has Igiehon ranked as the no. 2 player in New York and the no. 24 player overall in the class of 2019. He’s an impact big man with a high ceiling that takes his skill set seriously.

The biggest thing I look for in a school is development, I want to be able to develop as much as I can to ensure that I’m ready for the next level. I have only been playing this game for about five years. I am still relatively new to it, so development has been the key factor in my journey and I want it to continue to be a key factor.
